The Accepted-or-We-Fix-It Guarantee — Terms & Conditions | JusticeXpress Florida

JusticeXpressFlorida
Guarantee Terms & Conditions

Guarantee.

The full terms of the acceptance guarantee that comes with our Prepared & Reviewed document packages.

Version [1.1] · Effective September 15, 2026 · Applies to purchases made on or after that date.

The short version

If your filing bounces, you’re covered — two ways.

When you buy a Prepared & Reviewed package — like the $149 Simplified Divorce — and the clerk of court returns your filing because of a preparation error on our end, we correct it free and refund he Legal Document Reviewer Fee of approximately $75.00.

And if the clerk returns it for any other reason — even a detail that was outside our control — we’ll still correct your documents once, free, so you can re-file. (A refund applies only when the error was ours.)

This covers the clerk accepting your paperwork. It does not cover the judge’s final ruling or whether you qualified for a simplified divorce. The numbered terms below control.

This summary is for convenience only. If it ever conflicts with the numbered terms below, the numbered terms govern.

If the error is ours

Fix + full refund of the Legal Document Reviewer Fee

We correct the documents at no charge and refund your Legal Document Reviewer Service. See Section 3.

If it bounces for any reason

One free correction

We re-prepare your documents once, at no charge, so you can re-file. See Section 4.

Who this applies to

This Guarantee is offered by JusticeXpress Florida, L.L.C., a wholly-owned subsidiary of JusticeXpress, Inc. (“JusticeXpress,” “we,” “us“), to the individual who purchased an eligible package (“you“). It is part of your purchase agreement and is subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

JusticeXpress is an online legal-forms provider and document preparation service — not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, and nothing in this Guarantee creates an attorney-client relationship.

Definitions

Eligible Package
A package we designate “Prepared & Reviewed,” which includes a document-preparer review — for example, the Simplified Divorce ($149) package. Fillable-PDF-only and automated-form-only products that do not include a review are not covered.
Covered Documents
The specific documents we prepared and delivered to you as part of an Eligible Package.
Clerk
The Florida clerk of court, or the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal, where the Covered Documents are submitted for filing.
Rejection
A written rejection, return, or deficiency notice from the Clerk declining to accept the Covered Documents for filing. A processing delay that does not result in a written Rejection is not a Rejection.
Preparation Error
An error within our control that causes the Rejection — such as assembling the wrong Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Form for the package you bought, omitting a required field we were responsible for completing from the information you gave us, or a formatting or assembly defect on our part.
Correction
Our re-preparation of the Covered Documents to address the specific deficiency the Clerk cited, delivered to you at no additional Service Fee so you can re-file.
Service Fee
The flat fee you paid to JusticeXpress for the Eligible Package (e.g., $149 for Simplified Divorce). It does not include any Filing Fee.
Filing Fee
Court, clerk, state, service-of-process, or notary fees paid to anyone other than JusticeXpress. We never charge or mark these up.

3

The full Guarantee — fix and refund (our error)

If the Clerk issues a Rejection of your Covered Documents because of a Preparation Error by us, and you meet the conditions in Section 6, we will do both of the following:

Together with Section 4, this is your sole and exclusive remedy under this Guarantee.

4

One free correction — regardless of cause

We stand behind your filing even when the problem isn’t ours. If the Clerk issues a Rejection of your Covered Documents for any reason — including a reason listed in Section 5, or because information you gave us was inaccurate or incomplete — we will provide one Correction at no additional Service Fee, provided you meet the conditions in Section 6.

Please note
A Correction fixes the document deficiency the Clerk cited. It cannot guarantee acceptance where the underlying issue is not a document-preparation matter — for example, a question of your eligibility, jurisdiction, or a ruling by the court.

5

What does not qualify for a refund

The following are not a Preparation Error and do not entitle you to a refund under Section 3. You may still be eligible for one free Correction under Section 4.

6

Conditions you must meet

The following conditions apply. For a refund under Section 3, all six must be met. For one free Correction under Section 4, conditions 4–6 must be met, and you must provide any corrected information needed to address the deficiency.

  1. You filed the Covered Documents as delivered, without alteration.
  2. You followed the filing instructions we provided for your county.
  3. The information you gave us during preparation was accurate and complete.
  4. The Rejection was issued by the Clerk in writing (a deficiency notice, rejection, or e-portal correction request), and you can provide a copy.
  5. You submit your claim within 30 days of the date of the Rejection.
  6. You filed within 30 days of the date we delivered the Covered Documents.

7

How to make a claim

Email support@justicexpressflorida.com with the subject line “Guarantee Claim,” and include:

We will acknowledge your claim within 3 business days and tell you which remedy applies within 10 business days of receiving everything above. We will deliver your Correction promptly, and — where the refund applies under Section 3 — issue it to your original payment method within 5 business days.

8

Limits of the Guarantee

Filing fees
The court’s filing fee (for a Florida dissolution, typically around $409) is paid directly to the Clerk, is separate from your Service Fee, and is never refundable by us — because we never receive it.

9

Not legal advice

A Florida Legal Document Preparer may prepare documents at your direction and give you general factual information, but cannot give legal advice, cannot tell you which form or strategy is right for your situation, and does not represent you. If you need advice specific to your circumstances, consult a Florida-licensed attorney. Our review checks the Covered Documents for completeness and correct preparation; it is not a legal opinion on the merits or likely outcome of your matter.

10

Changes to these terms

We may update this Guarantee from time to time. The version in effect on the date you purchased your Eligible Package applies to that purchase. We will post the current version, its version number, and its effective date on this page.

11

Governing law & disputes

This Guarantee is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@justicexpressflorida.com so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be handled in accordance with the dispute-resolution and venue provisions of our Terms of Use
